The Battle of Dubbo was a battle between British forces under Sir Charles Napier and the Talpur amirs of the now Pakistani region of Sindh. The British were upset about the local amirs' stance during the First Anglo-Afghan War (1839–42). Charles Napier, first forced Talpur Mirs of Sindh to sign new agreement and later took over Hyderabad through Battle of Miani.
