The Battle of Dragashani (or Battle of Dragasani, Battle of Drăgăşani) was fought on June 19, 1821 in Drăgăşani, Wallachia, between the Ottoman forces of Sultan Mahmud II and the Greek Filiki Etaireia insurgents. It was a prelude to the Greek War of Independence.

Alexandre Ypsilantis et l'hétairie avaient entrepris d'attaquer les territoires danubiens de l'empire ottoman afin de joindre leurs forces à celles des insurgés valaques et aussi dans l'espoir de voir la Russie intervenir à leurs côtés dans le conflit. Cet espoir est déçu et les Ottomans rassurés sur les intentions des Russes peuvent envoyer des forces importantes pour réduire l'insurrection valaque et intercepter les Grecs. Ceux-ci subissent une défaite décisive près de Dragatsani lors de laquelle leur bataillon sacré est anéanti.

Ama Osmanlı ordusu Yunan birliklerini Bükreş'in 145 km batısındaki Dragaşani'de yok etti; İpsilanti kaçtı. Bu çarpışma İpsilanti'nin önderliğine son verdiyse de Yunan bağımsızlık hareketini çok etkilemedi. Bir süre sonra Mora'da yeni bir isyan başlatıldı.
