Barney Dalton was a rugby league player In the Australian competition - the New South Wales Rugby League. A winger, Dalton played for the Eastern Suburbs club side in the years (1910-12) and (1914-15). Dalton was a member of Eastern Suburbs first premiership winning side, after defeating Glebe in the final of the competition in 1911 and backed up the following season as Easts took their second title. The winger was also a member of the Easts' sides that won City Cups in 1914 and 1915.
