Barbara Jessica Ingram (born November 25, 1947–October 8, 1994) was an Grammy Award-nominated American musician. Active throughout the early 1970s until the mid-late 1980s, Ingram has enjoyed modest success a backup singer for almost two decades. She is the first African-American singer-songwriter to sing backup for more than over 20 albums since her professional debut began in 1971.
