Barbara Albright was an American author of about 25 food and knitting books. She was also former editor-in-chief of The Chocolatier magazine, a food editor as Redbook and Woman's World and a freelance writer for the Associated Press. Albright graduated from Fremont High School in Fremont, Nebraska and from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln with a bachelor's degree in food and nutrition. In 1980, she received her master's degree in nutrition communication from Boston University.
