Bangor Records is an independent record label based in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, and was founded in 2005 by Sophie Trudeau. Trudeau is a violinist for notable post-rock groups, Godspeed You! Black Emperor and A Silver Mt. Zion, whom she helped create with fellow Godspeed You! Black Emperor band members Efrim Menuck and Thierry Amar. The record label currently has three bands: The Mile End Ladies String Auxiliary, Diebold, and Strobes.
