Baker Brownell (12 December 1887 - 5 April 1965) was an American philosopher. Brownell was born in St. Charles, Illinois, the fifth of six children of Eugene A. and Esther Burr Baker Brownell. The future American philosopher grew up in St. Charles, Illinois, where he graduated from St. Charles High School.
