Babylon Circus is a ten piece ska and reggae group founded in 1995 in Lyon, France. Since forming, they have released four full - length albums and one EP. They have played over 600 shows throughout Europe, and have toured as far as Syria and Australia. The band began as a ska group but quickly transcended the genre, mixing punk, reggae, rock, swing and jazz influences. They sing in both French and English, sometimes mixing the two in songs.

Le groupe a travaillé, au printemps 2007, sur un vaste projet baptisé "Babylon Circus Experience", qui est en fait un ensemble de trois groupes distincts travaillant chacun une facette de Babylon Circus : le groupe Play Time (dub, jazz, jungle), le groupe WWW (chanson, world) et le groupe Dirty Babylon Breaker (reggae, punk, comprenant des membres de Dirty Fonzy et de Khod Breaker). Le groupe revient sur le devant de la scène en 2009 avec leur nouvel album Belle étoile qui sors le 9 Mars 2009 et qui sera suivi d'une tournée en France, Allemagne et aux Pays-Bas.
