Big Joe Williams l'a enregistrée à nouveau en 1945 pour Columbia Records, avec Sonny Boy Williamson II à l'harmonica. Cette seconde version est sortie couplée avec Wild Cow Moan. Cette chanson est devenu un standard du blues et a été reprise par un très grand nombre d'artistes. Lightnin' Hopkins l'a intégrée très tôt à son répertoire. Elle a été chantée par des bluesmen comme Muddy Waters, Big Bill Broonzy ou John Lee Hooker. Billy Lee Riley en a fait une version rockabilly. Them l'a enregistré en 1964, accompagné par Jimmy Page à la guitare. Le groupe l'a sorti en single avec Gloria en face B. Les deux titres devinrent des tubes.
