BOWiki is a Semantic Wiki for collaborative editing of biomedical ontologies and gene data. By applying the Ontology of Functions, it provides the functionality for editing of gene functions and annotations. The BOWiki is capable of using a type system based on an OWL ontology together with a description logic reasoner in order to perform consistency checks and queries.
