- Atmasfera is a Ukrainian band. The history of the band started not in Lviv, where most of the musicians come from, but in the southern town of Simeiz in 2003. In two years Atmasfera moved to Kiev, where Sasha Honcharuk and Andriy Cherkasov joined them and also a new drummer, Timur Gogitidze, plays with them for the last two years. Name of band AtmaSfera or AtmaSphere is made of two parts: Atma and sphere. In sanskrit, Atma means soul (eternal spiritual atom). This world is taken from sanskrit not by accident, because band plays and sings many traditional songs of gaudiya-vaisnavism tradition, which use sanskrit as language to address Supreme God, Krishna (Caitanya). First songs were of group were mostly in ukrainian, but later became closer to tradition, though some song are also in English or in few languages. This is to be understood thus that Atmasfera wants that her songs to be understood to youth who are just on path of seeking themselves as eternal souls (atmas), and trying to identify themselves with their indoeuropean roots - both in language and spiritually. So atmasfera thus is a nice fusion, though its fans number are not some many, but they have their permanent number. We can also remember here George Harrison of Beatles: he also played some specific songs like "My sweet Lord" with Hare Krishna and Alleluyah, and that was popular worldwide. We can expect that Atmasfera would also become a popular group because it is based on eternal values. George Harrison tried to mix, sometimes, both Christianity and Gaudiya-Vaisnavism, though, Atmasfera is known to be related with Siddhasvarupananda Paramahamsa, who is disciple of A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada inspired George Harrison for his future more or less spiritual career, do Atmasfera is inspired by Identity institute of Siddhasvarupananda. Though, just because specific feature of gaudiya-vaisnavism or vedic culture in general is to be in harmony with environment and other religions, we see that Atmasfera just like Harrison try to solve problems of Western world which is Christianity. Gaudiya-Vaisnavism do not reject Jesus Christ, and consider Him a shaktyavesha-avatara (here also goes Mohammad, and Buddha), however Krishna-Caitanya is a source of all avataras. So Atmasfera (just like George Harrison) slowly rises one from materialism to Chrisitanity and then to Krishna consciousness.
- AtmAsfera – ukraińska grupa muzyczna grająca wielostronną muzykę etniczną zawierająca elementy folkowe pochodzące z różnych stron świata z ukraińskimi i angielskim tekstami w połączeniu z językiem starożytnym. W swojej twórczości muzycy chętnie sięgają po formy muzyki klasycznej i współczesnej wraz z elementami improwizacji. Starają się wyrażać swoje emocje, myśli, uczucia i szczerze przekazać je słuchaczom. Zespół istnieje od 2003 roku i brał udział w wielu festiwalach m. in. "Global Battle of the Bands" (2007), gdzie w finale zajęli 4 miejsce, "Ethno Evolution", "Chervona Ruta" czy też Niv-rock (2006) i wielu innych. Wiele razy zagrali w Polsce: "Latający Holender", "Etniczne Inspiracje", "Etno Cross Festiwal". Zespół występował na Przystanku Woodstock w latach 2007, 2008, 2009, gdzie w 2009 roku odebrał nagrodę w plebiscycie Złotego Bączka za najlepszy koncert sceny folkowej. W 2009 i 2010r. AtmAsfera odbyła intensywną trasę koncertową po Polsce: Kraków, Wrocław, Toruń, Warszawa, Lublin... - to tylko kilka miast, które odwiedzili. W czerwcu 2010r. zdobyli drugą nagrodę na festiwalu Folkowo w Ostródzie. W lipcu 2010r. zagrali na prestiżowym norweskim festiwalu jazzowym Moldejazz. 21 marca 2011r. miała miejsce polska premiera nowej płyty zespołu „Integro” wraz z nowym teledyskiem do piosenki "Every step", mp3 można pobrać ze strony zespołu jako wiosenny prezent od Atmasfery. W maju i czerwcu 2011 odbędzie się trasa koncertowa Integro Tour Polska - zagrają koncerty w kilkunastu polskich miastach, jak Łódź, Warszawa, Kraków, Wrocław czy Poznań.
