Athol Guy (born 5 January 1940), is a member of the Australian pop music-folk music group The Seekers. Guy played the double bass. He was characterised by his wearing of black horn-rimmed glasses. During live performances, Guy also often acted as the group's compere. After his time with the Seekers, Guy had his own variety series on Australia's 7 Network: "A Guy Called Athol. " 1971 saw him elected as the Liberal member for Gisborne in the Victorian Legislative Assembly.
