She started working and appearing on a number of commercials, but quickly made the transition into film and television. In April 2005, Benson signed a three-year contract with the television series, Days of our Lives. She portrayed Abigail "Abby" Deveraux, the oldest child of supercouple Jack Deveraux and Jennifer Horton. Benson has also appeared on several television shows, including The Girls Next Door, A Haunting, Sex and the City, Hero, Weird Astronomy, and Lucky. She has also appeared in the film 13 Going on 30 as one of the "Six Chicks".
