- Antíoc II de Commagena (en llatí Antiochus, en grec antic Ἀντίοχος) fou rei de Commagena. Era amb molta probabilitat fill de Antíoc I de Commagena, i va succeir a Mitridates II Filohel·len l'any 31 aC, després de la batalla d'Àccium. El 29 aC August el va cridar a Roma sota l'acusació d'haver matat l'ambaixador que el seu germà Mitridates havia enviat a Roma, i després al mateix germà. August el va fer executar i va donar el regne a Mitridates III de Commagena, fill de l'assassinat Mitridates. (ca)

Antiochus II was a prince from the Kingdom of Commagene and the second son of King Antiochus I Theos of Commagene. He was the youngest brother of prince and future king Mithridates II of Commagene. Very little is known of Antiochus II. In 29 BC, he was summoned to Rome by the Emperor Augustus for causing the assassination of an ambassador Mithridates II had sent to Rome. Antiochus II was subsequently executed on Augustus’ orders. (en)

Pozostaje niejasne, jaki zasięg miał obszar kraju w jego żądaniach do tronu. Prawdopodobnie w r. 30 p.n.e. Antioch II usunął brata oraz zajął Kommagenę. W r. 29 p.n.e. został wezwany do Rzymu przez Oktawiana, przyszłego cesarza rzymskiego. Wezwano go, ponieważ kazał zabić posła, którego brat Mitrydates II wysłał do Rzymu. Tam wydano na niego wyrok śmierci. Wykonano go na rozkaz Oktawiana. Jest taka możliwość, że księżniczka Aka II mogła być jego córką. (pl)
