Admiral Sir Anthony Hiley Hoskins GCB (1828-1901), was a British naval officer who was First Naval Lord from 1891 to 1893. Hoskins entered the Royal Navy in 1842. From 1860 to 1861 he served in South America as commander of HMS Hecate. After serving in African waters and in the Far East, he commanded the HMS Eclipse on the North American station. Hoskins was senior officer of the Bahamas Division until late in 1870, when he was transferred to the Barbados Division.
