Anne Bancroft (September 17, 1931 – June 6, 2005) was an American actress who worked in theatre, film and television. She is associated with the role of Helen Keller's teacher, Annie Sullivan, in The Miracle Worker, for which she won both the Tony and Academy Awards, and that of the sultry-voiced seductress Mrs. Robinson in 'The Graduate.'
