Anne, Princess Royal and Princess of Orange (2 November 1709 – 12 January 1759) was the second child and eldest daughter of George II and his consort, Queen Caroline. She was the wife of William IV of Orange, the first hereditary stadtholder of the Netherlands. Princess Anne was the second daughter of a British sovereign to hold the title Princess Royal.

Se casó en la Capilla Real del palacio de St. James, el 25 de marzo de 1734, con Guillermo IV, príncipe de Orange-Nassau-Dietz. El 4 de mayo de 1747, su esposo es confirmado Estatúder Hereditario de las Provincias Unidas de los Países Bajos. De su matrimonio nacieron 6 hijos, de los cuales el primogénito varón y las 2 hijas siguientes nacieron muertos, además de otra hija fallecida al mes de nacer. Su hija mayor superviviente, Carolina, se casó con su primo distante Carlos Christian de Nassau-Weilburg. El menor de todos los hijos, y único varón vivo, Guillermo Batavo, era el heredero presunto. El 22 de octubre de 1751, Guillermo IV murió, siendo sucedido por su hijo Guillermo Batavo (de apenas 3 años de edad), con el nombre de Guillermo V. Ana entonces asume el cargo de princesa-regente por la minoridad de su hijo. En un principio, se mostró como una líder prudente y capaz, pero con el transcurso del tiempo su gobierno se volvió tiránico e impredecible. Murió en La Haya, el 12 de enero de 1759, a los 50 años de edad.
