Ann Schlee (born in the United States 1934) is an English novelist. She lived in the United States with her mother and grandparents until the end of World War II. After the war she lived in Cairo with her parents and later in Sudan and Eritrea. She attended boarding school in England and later went to Somerville College, Oxford. Her first novel, Rhine Journey, was shortlisted for the Booker Prize in 1981.
