  • 許鞍華（1947年5月23日－）香港電影導演，是香港七、八十年代新浪潮電影製作人中的著名一員，曾三度獲得香港電影金像獎最佳導演。 許鞍華於中國遼寧鞍山出生，母親是日本人。五歲時到香港。1972年香港大學畢業，得碩士銜，主修英文及比較文學。之後在英國進修電影。1975年回港後曾為胡金銓的助手。之後在香港無線電視任導演，拍攝了《CID》、《北斗星》等作品，之後亦曾為香港電台拍攝紀錄片及短篇電視劇。1978年為香港電台《獅子山下》拍攝的十六米釐電影作品《來客》，成為日後許鞍華「越南三部曲」之首。 1979年專職拍攝電影，首部大電影作品《瘋劫》。1981年至82年分別拍攝越南三部曲中的《胡越的故事》和《投奔怒海》，俱大獲好評。之後拍攝的電影包括有《傾城之戀》、《書劍恩仇錄》、《客途秋恨》、《女人，四十。》、《千言萬語》、《男人四十》、《姨媽的後現代生活》、《天水圍的日與夜》、《天水圍的夜與霧》等。
