Andrew Weiss is a bass guitarist and producer. He produced and played bass for most of the Ween albums; for Greg Ginn's post Black Flag band Gone; and for ex-Black Flag singer Henry Rollins' Rollins Band from 1987 to 1993. Weiss was also a member of Regressive Aid with William Tucker and fellow Rollins Band member Sim Cain. Weiss has also appeared as a guest playing for Yoko Ono, Pigface, and the Butthole Surfers. He played with and produced Johnny Depp's band "P".

In 2002 Weiss produced current Ween bassist Dave Dreiwitz's duo band Instant Death's debut album, "New Evil Vibe". He has also produced albums for Latin rock bands Babasónicos and Cafe Tacuba. He was also featured as the bass player in the movie It's Pat. Production work on the Ween albums was done at his studio, Zion House of Flesh, in western New Jersey. Andrew Weiss was the drummer of the short-lived punk rock band Ed's Toolshed. As of August 2009, Andrew is touring with Jello Biafra's new band Jello Biafra and the Guantanamo School of Medicine, as a replacement for bassist Billy Gould, the latter one being on tour with his band Faith No More.
