Andrew Orpik (born March 3, 1986 in San Francisco, California) is an American ice hockey player. His brother Brooks Orpik is a Stanley Cup winning defenseman for the Pittsburgh Penguins of the NHL. Andrew is a prospect for the Buffalo Sabres who drafted him 227th overall in the 7th round of the 2005 NHL Entry Draft. Orpik has graduated from Boston College majoring in Marketing. Orpik was not signed to an entry level contract by the Sabres, causing the release of his rights.
