Andreas Papagiannakopoulos was a judge and a politiican of Kalavryta and Achaia. He was born in Leivartzi and moved to Patras at a young are. He studied law and was educated with journalism, in which he published the newspapers Pelopas and Toxotis in 1876. He became a municipal officer in 1883 and later quit a year laater. He was elected as a politician for Kalavryta in 1885 and continuously from 1887 until 1910 as for the Achaia prefecture.
