Ana Gabriel (born on December 10, 1955 as María Guadalupe Araújo Yong in Santiago de Comanito, Sinaloa) is a Mexican singer and composer. She was born into a Mexican family of mixed Spanish, Chinese and Japanese ancestry. She first sang on the stage at age six, when she sang "Regalo A Dios" by José Alfredo Jiménez. She moved to Tijuana, Baja California, where she studied accounting. When she was 21 years old she recorded her first song, entitled "Compréndeme" in 1977.

Although a music collection promotes her and fellow Mexican singer Juan Gabriel as "Los Gabriel" (The Gabriels), they are not related to each other.
