  • 利他的行動（りたてきこうどう、英: Altruism）は、進化生物学、動物行動学、生態学などで用いられる用語で、ヒトを含む動物が他の個体などに対しておこなう、自己の損失を顧みずに他者の利益を図るような行動のこと。理想的には、利益は適応度で計られる。行動の結果だけで判断され、目的や意図は問わない。利他的行動の進化は動物行動学などで長く議論の対象となっている。利己的行為の対義語としても用いられる。行動の進化の文脈では、同じ意味で協力行動（Co-operation）が使われることもある。
