Alter Der Ruine is a power noise group from Tucson, Arizona. After self-releasing their first album The Ruine Process in August 2006 the band began playing shows across the southwestern United States and Mexico. In 2007 the group was signed to Sistinas Music, expanded to four members and produced their second album State of Ruin, which features a remix by Assemblage 23. The band has received considerable radio and club play in Europe and ADR members have played shows in Spain as well.

Après avoir sorti (en autoproduction) en Août 2006 leur premier album intitulé The Ruine Process, le groupe a commencé à se produire dans le sud des Etats-Unis ainsi qu'au Mexique. En 2007, le groupe signe avec le label Sistinas Music, passa à quatre membres, et sort leur second album State Of Ruin, lequel contient un remix d'Assemblage 23 et des remix pour la version limitée de l'album, de Noisuf-X, Endif ou encore Caustic. En Europe, le groupe a aussi profité d'une large diffusion en radio et surtout en club, et les membres d'Alter Der Ruine se sont produits en Espagne notamment. Le groupe est en train de prévoir une tournée européenne pour 2008.
