The Aliens Act 1793 (33 Geo. III c. 4) was an Act of the British Parliament regulation immigration into the Kingdom of Great Britain. The Act stated that aliens must be recorded on entry to the country at ports and to register with the local Justices of the Peace. The law was introduced following the sharp increase in immigration of refugees from the French Revolution.
