Alexandru Vaida-Voevod or Vaida-Voievod was a Romanian politician who was a supporter and promoter of the union of Transylvania with the Romanian Old Kingdom; he later served three terms as a Prime Minister of Greater Romania.

Fokozatosan kapcsolatba került a fasiszta és a náci eszmékkel, ennek nyomán 1935-ben megalapította a Frontul Românesc nevű fasiszta szervezetet. 1945. március 24-én letartóztatták. 1946-ban Nagyszebenben háziőrizetbe került, ahol élete hátralevő részét töltötte.

Han mente at rumenerne burde ha de samme rettighetene som ungarerne. Etter den første verdenskrig ble han statsminister til 1920. Han ble igjen statsminister i 1932 men da som medlem av det nasjonale bondepartiet.

W okresie międzywojennym czołowy polityk rumuńskiej Partii Narodowo-Chłopskiej. Trzykrotnie sprawował funkcję premiera Rumunii, w okresie 1 grudnia 1919 – 20 marca 1920 roku, 6 czerwca – 19 października 1932 roku oraz 14 stycznia – 14 listopada 1933 roku. Po II wojnie światowej aresztowany przez władze komunistyczne w dniu 24 marca 1945 i osadzony rok później w areszcie domowym w Sybinie. Do końca życia nie odzyskał wolności.

A activat ca deputat român în Parlamentul de la Budapesta. Prim ministru al României între 1 decembrie 1919 şi 20 martie 1920, precum şi între 14 ianuarie 1933 şi 14 noiembrie 1934. A fost arestat de către autorităţile comuniste pe 24 martie 1945, iar în 1946 i s-a impus domiciliu forţat la Sibiu unde a rămas până la sfârşitul vieţii.
