Tras medio año de inactividad, en la temporada 2005 fichó por Colo-Colo, donde fue solamente suplente. A comienzos del 2007 ficho por Universidad de Concepción, terminando contrato al término del Apertura de ese mismo año. Tras medio año de inactividad regresa a Santiago Wanderers para afrontar la Primera B como el Capitán del equipo. Lamentablemente por problemas de salud en medio del torneo debió ceder su puesto a David Reyes quien se consolido en el puesto dejándolo después relegado a la banca. Finalmente terminado el 2008 no renueva contrato con Wanderers por diferencias con el técnico Jorge Aravena y se encuentra sin club. Al partir nuevamente del puerto la barra de Los Panzers organizo un tributo para el atajador de ilusiones y despedirse de él con un "Hasta Pronto". Luego confirmaría su retiro de la actividad para dedicarse a proyectos personales.
