Im ZDF war Jolig in dem TV-Krimi Sperling und die Angst vorm Schmerz zu sehen. Im Januar 2005 bewohnte er eine knappe Woche lang „Die Burg“ beim TV-Sender ProSieben. Alex Jolig ist derzeit der Geschäftsführer und Gesellschafter „Präsident“ der Team 69 GmbH. Er ist mit der Autorin Sandra Mahnkopp verheiratet, mit ihr hat er eine Adoptivtochter.
