Alex Band (born Alexander Max Band, June 8, 1981, Los Angeles, California) is an American musician and singer-songwriter, best known for his work in his former band The Calling and their signature song "Wherever You Will Go", which peaked at #3 on the Top 40 in 2001. Along with bandmate and fellow songwriter Aaron Kamin as part of The Calling, the pair achieved success with the release of their two studio albums; Camino Palmero (2001) and Two (2004).
