Alesha Anjanette Dixon (born 7 October 1978) is a British pop/R&B singer-songwriter, dancer and model. She first found fame in the all-female R&B trio Mis-Teeq, however she is now a solo artist. Mis-Teeq separated in 2005 and Dixon, signed to Polydor, began recording her debut solo album, Fired Up, but due to poor record sales of her first single she parted with her label. Subsequently, Fired Up was not released in most territories, including her native United Kingdom.

Její singl roku 2008 "Chlapec nic nedělá" (This boys does nothing) odstartoval její slávu na UK Singles Graf dosáhl počtu 5 a výdaje po dobu tří měsíců se držel v UK Top 40 . Zúčastnila se a byla korunována vítězem v Uk Top desítce. Dixon se narodila ve Welwyn Garden City, Velká Británie, jedna ze sedmi dětí narozených britskou matkou a jamajským otcem. Má pět bratrů a dvě sestry. Dixon se vzdělávala ve škole Monks, Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire, a měla v plánu stát se učitelkou tělocviku po opuštění koleje. Po vyplnění diplomu Samozřejmě, že měla v plánu zístat místo na Loughborough University, když byla oslovena rekordním počtem producentů, kteří jí požádali, jestli by mohla zpívat, a na cestě zpátky domů byla opět potkala někoho, kdo se jí dotázal, zda byla v kapele. Poté se tedy rozhodla zpívat. Její kariéra začala v roce 1999, kdy nastoupila do Taneční Attic (hip-hop/jazz populární taneční akademii ve West London), a společně s Sabrinou Washington vytvořili duo a nahrály demo s názvem "inspirace". Potom se setkaly se Su-Elise Nash a pak společně tvoří trio. Byly podepsány brzy na Telstar se Záznamy o přidání nového člena, Zena McNally. Stalo se z nich trijo,které si nechalo říkat Miss-Teeq.
