Albert Haller Tracy was a U.S. Representative from New York, brother of Phineas Lyman Tracy. Born in Norwich, Connecticut, Tracy pursued classical studies, and later studied medicine. He moved to New York in 1811, where he abandoned medicine and studied law. He was admitted to the bar and commenced practice in Buffalo, New York, in 1815. Tracy was elected to the Sixteenth, Seventeenth, and Eighteenth Congresses.
