The Albanian National Liberation Front were an Albanian resistance organization that fought in World War II. It was created in 16th September 1942, in a conference held in Peza (near Tirana). Apart the communist figures which had the majority in the General Council it also included known nationalist figures like Myslym Peza, Abaz Kupi etc. The Albanian National Liberation Front was later transformed in May 1944 in the government of Albania and its leaders became government members.

Le 7 avril 1939, les troupes de Mussolini envahissent l’Albanie. La résistance albanaise s'organise autour du parti communiste sous la direction d'Enver Hoxha et en liaison avec le mouvement de Tito en Yougoslavie. Le 16 septembre 1942, la première Conférence de libération nationale, à Pezë, regroupe communistes et nationalistes de diverses tendances, dont le Balli Kombëtar et donne naissance au Front de Libération National (FLN), dirigé par huit membres dont Enver Hoxha et Abaz Kupi. Le FLN n'est qu'une alliance de circonstance entre communistes et royalistes. Abaz Kupi, exclu du FLN en novembre 1943 quand le mouvement passe sous le contrôle exclusif des communistes, fonde le parti de la Légalité, fidèle au roi Zog 1er.
