Alan Peter Schramm Cayetano (born October 28, 1970) is a senator from the Philippines. He was the congressional representative from the district of Taguig-Pateros for 9 years. He had a seven-point program for his Taguig-Pateros constituency in Metro Manila. Cayetano is particularly focused on education. He ran for senator on the May 14, 2007 Philippine elections under the Genuine Opposition banner and won. He assumed his new office beginning June 30, 2007.

Drie jaar later werd hij gekozen als lid van het Filipijns Huis van Afgevaardigden namens het kiesdistrict Taguig City-Pateros. In 2001 en 2004 werd hij herkozen als afgevaardigde. Na zijn derde en dus laatst mogelijke opeenvolgende termijn als afgevaardigde stelde hij zich in de verkiezingen 2007 onder de vlag van de oppositie-coalitie, Genuine Opposition, beschikbaar voor een zetel in de Filipijnse Senaat. Cayetano eindigde op de negende plaats en was daarmee gekozen als senator tot 2013. Cayetano is sinds 2003 lid van de Nacionalista Party.
