Alan Hunte is an English former rugby league footballer of the 1980s, 90s and 2000s. A Great Britain representative three-quarter, he played his club football for Wakefield Trinity, St Helens, Hull, Warrington Wolves and Salford City Reds. Hunte is regarded as one of the fastest wingers of his era. Hunte was transferred to Hull for £250,000 from St. Helens in 1997 as part of a deal that also included Steve Prescott and Simon Booth. He later moved to Warrington Wolves and Salford City Reds.
