Agrawals or Agarwals (अगरवाल) are a large and influential Hindu forward caste in India. Traditionally, the Agrawals have been a trading community in northern India, though in modern times they follow other professions as well. The ancient texts trace the origin of Agrawals to the Kshatriya king Agrasena of the Sun Dynasty who adopted Vaishya dharma for the benefit of his people.
