The Afghan Raiders' quick rise in popularity has allowed them to play significant shows such as the CMJ Music Marathon in NYC, SXSW in Austin, and club circuits along the west coast. They have also played notable events such as Dim Mak's Cinespace Party in Los Angeles, Blow Up in San Francisco, and the Filter/Ben Sherman Rock Royalty party. The band has shared the stage with artists such as YACHT, Wallpaper, Classixx, and Metronomy, and have created remixes for bands including The Faint, Phoenix_(band), Black Lips, and Broken Spindles. Their remix of the Black Lips and GZA collaboration track, "The Drop I Hold", won Filter Magazine's August 2008 remix contest . By the end of 2009, the Afghan Raiders plan to release a new single and additional remixes.
