Adrian Francis Utley (born April 1957) is a musician most widely known for his work as a member of the band Portishead. Utley is self-taught on guitar, bass and keyboards, and played professionally from the age of 18 in working men's clubs, night clubs, holiday camps, and in cabaret, backing soul artists. During the 1980s he played jazz and R&B; then, in the early 1990s, his interest in electronics, recording and production, led him to join Portishead.

W 1991 Utley napisał muzykę do krótkometrażowego filmu Sort of Champion w rezyserii Ricka Holbrooka i Hazel Grian, w którym miał też małą rolę. Muzykę do filmu nagrał The Adrian Utley Quartet w składzie Utley, Tony Orrell, Dave Goodier, John Bagott i Will Gregory.
