Aberystwyth is a historic market town, administrative centre and holiday resort within Ceredigion, Wales. Staden är administrativt centrum för regionen Ceredigion. Staden ligger nära floderna Ystwyths och Rheidols utlopp. Förutom en befolkning på cirka 12 000 personer bor där även ungefär 9 000 studenter vid University of Wales, Aberystwyth.
