He began his career with Syrian Premier League club Al-Karamah, scoring his first competitive goal in a 2–1 win at Al-Qardaha on 25 May 2004. The following season, he scored a hat-trick in a 5–1 win at Al-Shorta on 21 May 2005. He won the Syrian Premier League championship with Al-Karamah in May 2006, having finished as runner-up in the previous two seasons.
