The film won many major awards at several award functions such as Filmfare and IIFA. Taare Zameen Par is a 2007 film directed by Aamir Khan. Khan also stars in the film, sharing the screen with the debut of child actor Darsheel Safary& Tisca Chopra. The film was initially conceived of and developed by the husband and wife team, Amole Gupte and Deepa Bhatia.
