Es el que produce las notas musicales que permiten la comunicación entre humanos y extraterrestres. Tras el 2500, irían apareciendo nuevos modelos: ARP 2600, ARP Odyssey, ARP Soloist y ARP Omni. En 1975, ARP era el primer fabricante mundial de instrumentos electrónicos, pero tras varios errores de marketing y, a causa de una gran falta de previsión, la firma quebró en 1981.
