Arthur Aston Luce MC (21 August 1882 – 28 June 1977). Irish professor of philosophy at Trinity College, Dublin and also Precentor of St. Patrick's Cathedral, Dublin (1952-1973). Throughout his life he held many clerical appointments and was Vice-Provost of Trinity from 1946-1952. He was widely known as an authority on the philosopher George Berkeley.
