5 Minute Walk is an independent record label founded by Frank Tate in April, 1995. Their operations were based in Concord, California in the back offices of "The Screem", a live alternate music club operated by Tate. They only carried Christian bands and considered themselves to be a Christian ministry. Most records were produced by Masaki Liu at Masaki's One Way Studio and executive produced by Frank Tate.

Toen deze band echter in 2003 uitelkaar ging, vormde leadzanger Reese Roper de poppunk-band "Roper". In 2004 bracht deze band hun enige album "Brace Yourself for the Mediocre" uit, want rond 2006 ging de band alweer uitelkaar. 5 Minute Walk heeft SaraBellum Records als sublabel. Albums die onder dit label uitkwamen, werden door Warner Music Group gedistribueerd, maar het sublabel werd in 2001 samengevoegd toen Diamante Music Group door EMI werd overgenomen.
