De stod for en mer avslappet soulmusikk med tydelige hiphop-elementer. I 2002 forlot Naughton bandet og erklærte at hun hadde blitt dårlig behandlet. Hun sa hun hadde blitt forsøkt presset til å innlede et forhold til en mannlig bakgrunnsanger. Hun sa også at Williams ved en anledning hadde kastet kylling og potetstappe på henne. Williams og Bailon utgav deretter albumet Noughty or nice? som inneholdt julesanger. Like etter ble Jessica Benson tatt inn som et nytt medlem. Williams og Bailon har også spilt i filmen Cheetah Girls.
