The 1962 Los Angeles State Diablos football team represented Los Angeles State during the 1962 NCAA College Division football season. Los Angeles State competed in the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA). The team was led by twelfth-year head coach Leonard (Bud) Adams. Coach Adams had been the leader of the team since the school started playing intercollegiate football in 1951, and this was his last year as head coach. They finished the season with a record of two wins and eight losses (2–8, 0–6 CCAA).
