Aalesund University College (Høgskolen i Ålesund) is a medium sized institution of higher education in Norway with more than 2000 students and approximately 150 employees. AAUC was founded in 1994 as a result of the reorganisation of professional higher education in Norway. Three former colleges in Aalesund, the College of Marine Studies, the College of Engineering and Aalesund College of Nursing were then merged into one institution.

Disse kan tas i varierende lengder fra halvårsenheter til bachelorgrader, mastergrader og enkelte doktorgradstudier, samt en rekke kurs-, etter- og videreutdanninger. Høgskolens fire institutter er: Institutt for teknologi- og nautikkfag Institutt for internasjonal markedsføring Institutt for helsefag Institutt for Biologiske fag Høgskolen tilbyr internasjonalisering av studier, både muligheter for å ta deler av sin ordinære utdanning i utlandet, eller ved å fortsette å utdanne seg i utlandet etter endte studier.
