Session Road (stylized as sessiOnroad) is an alternative rock band from the Philippines. Band members are Hannah Romawac-Olives (vocals, rhythm guitar), Coy Placido (lead guitar, synth/also from the band Top Junk), Chavi Romawac (drums, percussions), JV Romawac (percussions, back-up vocals) and Jimbo San Pedro (bass). Coy y Hannah son los principales compositores del grupo, en la que han generado una serie de fusiones de distintos géneros de rock, como el rock-pop alternativo, el blues, el reggae y el soul, entre otros estilos principales. Su primer álbum fue producido por Grace Nono y bajo el sello de Star Records. Este fue el lanzamiento del primer sencillo titulado "Buwan SUNTOK SA", de su segundo álbum del mismo título. Fue producido bajo el sello de "Alfa" en septiembre de 2004. SessiOnroad obtuvo mucho reconocimiento del público oyente. Sus temas musicales encabezaron las listas en casi todas las principales emisoras de radio de Manila durante dos semanas consecutivas desde que comenzó a esucharse en varias estaciones de radio. "Suntok sa buwan" fue nominada como la canción del año 2004 y "Blanko", como otra de sus mejores canciones de meditación. Desde el 2006 su álbum "bakit hindi?" It was the release of the first single SUNTOK SA BUWAN, from their second album of the same title and produced by Alpha Records in September 2004, that gained for sessiOnroad a lot of recognition from the listening public. The song topped the charts in almost all major radio stations in Manila for two straight weeks since it started airplay.Suntok sa Buwan was nominated song of the year for 2004."Blanko" a meditative song about emptiness, from their 2006 album "bakit hindi?"(why not?), won the band's Awit Award Best Music Video under the people's choice category in 2007.
