The next Irish general election to Dáil Éireann, the lower house of Ireland's parliament, the Oireachtas, will be held on or before March 2025, to elect between 171 and 181 TDs across Dáil constituencies of between 3 and 5 seats. A Taoiseach with a mandate to form a government was not nominated by the current Dáil when it first met on 20 February 2020 after the 2020 general election. The current Dáil will ultimately be dissolved by the president on the advice of the then Taoiseach. This will trigger the next election.
