Dame Ann Marilyn Strathern, DBE (née Evans; born 6 March 1941) is a British anthropologist, who has worked largely with the natives of Papua New Guinea and dealt with issues in the UK of reproductive technologies. She was William Wyse Professor of Social Anthropology at the University of Cambridge from 1993 to 2008, and Mistress of Girton College, Cambridge from 1998 to 2009.

Formada em antropologia social no Girton College.Foi a primeira antropóloga britânica a ser agraciada com o título de Dame, um equivalente aos títulos de Sir que existem na antropologia. Dedicou boa parte de sua vida aos estudos melanésios, realizando pesquisa de campo particularmente com os Hagen. Autora de diversos livros de grande importância tanto para os estudos em Antropologia Social quanto para os Estudos de Gênero. Dentre eles um trabalho pioneiro para antropologia feminista é o Women in between (1972). Atualmente é professora de antropologia na Universidade de Cambridge, Inglaterra.
